My little brother is growing up

No kidding, I have an 18-year-old brother and a 14-year-old sister. What does that mean? Well, when I entered high school I was resident babysitter and bottle maker — a skill that came in handy years later when my wife and I had our own girls.

A couple weeks ago my brother competed in the Colorado State Golf Championships in Windsor, Colorado. It being his senior year this was the close of his high school golf career, so I broke out the 400mm lens and headed out to watch and shoot. With him being so busy playing this fall this was also the only chance we had to take a few portraits for his yearbook. We found a great spot with some nice color near the golf course and made a couple of nice frames.

Both of them like to tell me I’m “old.” So, I guess when it’s time to photograph my sister’s senior portrait I’ll be “really old?”

Best of luck, brother.
